EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Mary "Cookie" Ferrenburg, 68, of East Prairie, formerly of Morley, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in East Prairie.

She was born March 10, 1944, in St. Louis, to the late Lester and Marion Wescoat Ferrenburg.

Cookie was a member of Morley Baptist Church many years, and currently a member of Full Gospel Church of East Prairie.

She was a 1962 graduate of Scott County Central High School. She was a store manager more than 18 years.

Survivors include three sons, two daughters-in-law and their children, Curt and Kelly Poore and their children James Curtis, Park and Taylor of Jackson; Mark and Yolanda Poore and their children Josh Dixson and Addison of Jackson; Thad Poore and his children Landon, Ethan, Hannah and Savannah Morgan of Hartselle, Ala.; a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Brad Kenedy and their children Evan and August of East Prairie; and a brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Margie Ferrenburg of Morley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morley Baptist Church, with Mike Johnson of Full Gospel Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley.

Pallbearers will be Colie Taylor, Riche Walker, James Robert Taylor, David Kenedy, Doc Poore and Jay Cookson.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Curtis Poore, Park Poore, Josh Dixson, Landon Poore, Ethan Poore, Evan Kenedy and August Kenedy.
