MARY ETHEL WALKER

BLOOMFIELD -- Mary Ethel Walker, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1992, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 7, 1901, at Aquilla, daughter of Henry and Lizzie Bodenhammer Lawrence. She married William Franklin Walker Nov. 14, 1921, who preceded her in death.

Walker was a seamstress, and member of Trinity United Methodist Church here.

Survivors include two sons, James Walker of Bloomfield, W. Wayne Walker of Columbia; a daughter, Carmaleen Thorn of Bloomfield; two brothers, John Lawrence of Flint, Mich., Everett Lawrence of Aquilla; a sister, Mildred Mayo of Blytheville, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 11 great-stepgrandchildren, and two great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harold Ferrell will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
