CHAFFEE -- Mary Ella Brown, 90, of Chaffee and formerly of Gideon died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Aug. 20, 1908, in Blytheville, Ark., the daughter of John Wesley and Rose Etta Martin Kellum. She married Henry Brown June 5, 1926. He preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1973.
She attended the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosa Curtis of Oran and Lucille Stidham of Pinealles Park, Fla.; a brother, John W. Kellum of Star City, Ark.; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bradshaw Chapel with Larry Wilson officiating.
Burial will be at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
