Funeral for Mary Elfrank of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Elfrank, 88, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services of Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 7, 1913, in Cloverdale, Ala., daughter of Tom and Lou Ivis Young Brewer. She and Clyde Elfrank were married Dec. 23, 1948, in Piggott, Ark.

Elfrank was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Colene Berger of Mexico, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
