ANNA, Ill. -- Mary Edna Verble Womick, 74, of Anna died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at her home.
She was born April 22, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, Ill., the daughter of Arlie and Maude Mae Helton Verble.
She married Paul W. Womick Aug. 1, 1952 in Dongola, Ill. He preceded her in death April 13, 1986. A sister and three brothers also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters: Nadine Adams of Anna and Sharon Farris of Lincoln, Ill.; two sons: Paul and Dennis Womick of Anna; one brother, Larry Verble of Anna; one sister, Maude Eileen Statlar of Carbondale; and three grandchildren.
She was owner/operator of Fashion Hair Design and Womick Disposal and Trucking Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with Dr. Charles Owen officiating. Burial will follow at the Anna Cemetery.
