MARY E. SCOTT

MATTHEWS -- Mary E. Scott, 80, of Matthews, died Wednesday, March 10, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 27, 1912, in Rector, Ark., daughter of George Thomas and Delilatt Penelope Mills Franklin. She married Walter Scott, who died Nov. 6, 1976.

Survivors include a son, Billy Vinson of Benton Harbor, Mich.; four daughters, Marie Seaton and Shirley Wieland of Springfield, Ill., Bonnie Armstrong of Matthews, Margaret Stanley of Oran; a brother, James Franklin of Hardinsburg, Ky.; two sisters, Mabel Davis of Marmaduke, Ark., Lucille Biggs of Ripley, Tenn.; 24 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. D.R. Heitman will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
