MARY E. DUNIPHAN

MCGEE -- Funeral service for Mary Evelyn Duniphan of McGee will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Revs. Bill Fox and Leeroy Hefner will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.

Duniphan, 86, died Monday, May 8, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 7, 1909, at Wappapello, daughter of John Calvin and Harriett Nance Morgan. She and Beauford Duniphan were married Nov. 10, 1924, at Flat River.

Duniphan was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Puxico, had been a Democratic committeewoman and member of the Wayne County Health Department Board of Directors many years.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Elwin Duniphan of Parker, Colo.; two daughters, Leberta Farmer of Grand Prairie, Texas, Charlotte Beck of Fairfax Station, Va.; 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and granddaughter.
