ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mary E. Clover of Alto Pass will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home here. The Rev. James Sumner will officiate, with burial in Walker Hill Cemetery at Grand Tower.

Clover, 62, died Wednesday, May 25, 1994, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born May 4, 1932, in Alto Pass, daughter of Preston Filmore and Fannie Melissa Underwood Hale. She and Hubert L. Clover were married July 27, 1947, in Alto Pass.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sandra Carter of Anna, Rhonda Ballard of Bradenton, Fla., Mary Jordan of Grand Tower; four sons, Steven and Timothy Clover of Cobden, Daniel Clover of Alto Pass, Kevin Clover of Anna; a brother, James Hale of Anna; four sisters, Ruth Melvin and Lucille Folmer of Peoria, Ida Martin of Xenia, Ohio, Ada Young of Anna; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and three stepgrandchildren.
