Mary Charlene Dodd, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Life Care Center.
She was born July 14, 1934, in Olive Branch, Illinois, to Richard and Zola O. Jamison Ollis. She and John Anderson Dodd were married Dec. 24, 1951, at Cairo, Illinois. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2016.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include her two daughters, Donna (Robert) Vincent of Sikeston, Missouri, and Pamela Dodd of Cape Girardeau; a son, Gary Dodd of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Helen Stilley of Olive Branch and Norma Morrow of Joliet, Illinois; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, John Dodd and Paul Dodd; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cape Girardeau.
A service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Bishop William Shipley officiating. Burial will be at Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield, Illinois, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
