Mary Dixon

ANNA, Ill. -- Mary E. Dixon, 81, of Anna died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.

She was born March 11, 1924, in Kittery, Maine, daughter of Frank and Florence Tice Mullen.

She married Alfred Dixon on Jan. 3, 1947, in Lowell, Maine. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1978.

She had worked as a factory worker and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include a son, Richard Dixon of Jonesboro, Ill.; a daughter, Jane Hileman of Jonesboro; two sisters, Margaret Feeteau and Eileen Woods, both of Lowell; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Monsignor Dennis Schaefer officiating.

Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
