WICKLIFFE, Ky. -- Mary Ann DeWeese, 73, of Wickliffe and formerly of Grand Chain, Ill., and Pasadena, Calif., died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at her home.
She was born June 22, 1928 at Grand Chain, daughter of John and Myrtle Glenn Clark. She married Jesse Eugene DeWeese.
She was a member of the Blandville Baptist Church, the Eastern Star Chapter of Wickliffe and the Secretary's Guild Club of Pasadena and was an administrative assistant for the Bell & Howell Company in Pasadena, retiring after 14 years of service.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Anita DeWeese Vishon of Wickliffe; a son, John Milton DeWeese of Destin, Fla.; a sister, Ruth McClellan of Mounds, Ill.; two brothers, Russell Clark of Grand Chain and Raymond Clark of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The body will be cremated. A graveside memorial service with interment will be held next week at Cache Chapel Cemetery near Ullin, Ill.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
