Mary DeBrock

Mary Jane DeBrock, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 23, 1944, in Glennon, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Broshuis DeBrock.

Mary worked for VIP Industries for more than 48 1/2 years and started working for Marble Hill VIP in 1972, transferring to the Cape Girardeau VIP in 1980. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her brothers, William "Bill" (Betty) DeBrock of Cape Girardeau and Bernard (Rosemary) DeBrock of Oran, Missouri; sisters, Dorothy Heuring of Oran and Theresa (Delwin) Elfrink of Cape Girardeau.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Betty Jane DeBrock.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, with the Rev. Antony Thekkanath officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
