SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Mary Carroll of Sikeston will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Carroll, 91, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born April 2, 1906, daughter of James Robert and Gertrude Lee. She and Marvin L. Carroll were married Oct. 21, 1925. He died March 21, 1983.
Carroll had been a secretary for Scott County Milling Co., and had been a receptionist for Dr. T.C. McClure.
The Carrolls owned and operated Carroll's Service Station until 1946. She was superintendent two years at the former Sikeston General Hospital, operated Carroll's Recital Service 13 years, and looked after 100 pieces of property.
Survivors include a niece, Mary Short of Kentfield, Calif.
