Mary Faye Bradshaw, 67, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at her home.
She was born Saturday, Oct. 23, 1948, in Denver to Ulysses Lonzo "Arkie" and Ovillia Mary Ann Powers DePriest. She and Kenneth Bradshaw were married Nov. 14, 1978.
Mary was a graduate of Poplar Bluff (Missouri) High School and a graduate of beauty school. She worked as a beautician for many years. She also worked as a receptionist for Center Point in St. Louis and at Gibson Recovery Center, retiring in 2008. Mary was an avid Cardinals fan and loved watching her children and grandchildren participating in sports and high-school marching bands.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bradshaw; sister, Susan English of Hickory Valley, Tennessee; daughter, Jerri Thomas (Faron Hanners) of Jackson; son, Chris (Jennifer) Bradshaw of Kirkwood, Missouri; stepdaughter, Kim (Rocky) Henson of Scott City; grandchildren, Paige Reyes, Mark Thomas Jr. and Kelli Burnell, all of Jackson, Josh, Logan and Sabrina Henson of Scott City and William and Samuel Bradshaw of Kirkwood; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Reyes, Presley and Julian Thomas and Colton Henson; and three nieces and their children of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepson, Kenny Bradshaw.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with pastor Mark Boettcher officiating.
