JACKSON - Mary Bollinger, of 1129 Highway 61 East, died Monday, Aug. 26, 1991 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 70.

Bollinger was born Oct. 15, 1920 in Cape Girardeau to Joseph and Josephine Nitsch Myer. She married Cletus Bollinger in Jackson Nov. 23, 1946. He survives.

Surviving as well are brothers Bob, Dick and Paul Myer, all of Jackson; sisters Mildred Abbott of Perryville and Daisy Koch of Cape Girardeau; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson and worked for 20 years at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill.

She had been hospitalized since Aug. 15.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Monsignor Edward M. Eftink will preside.

Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. today.
