Memorial service for Mary E. Bock of St. Mary's, Mo., was held Nov. 2 at St. Vincent's Church in Houston, Texas.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Bock, 96, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Jan. 25, 1905, in Dorrance, Kan., daughter of John and Elizabeth Harrington Casey. She and Lorrin Bock were married Jan. 12, 1937, in Ellinwood, Kan. He died Jan. 5, 1985.
Bock lived in St. Louis and Houston most of her life. She was a school teacher three years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a grandson, Christopher Joseph Bock of St. Mary's; a granddaughter, Jennifer Marissa Bock of St. Charles, Mo.; and a daughter-in-law, Mary R. Bock of St. Mary's.
She was preceded in death by a son, James E. Bock, Oct. 28, 1989.
