PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Josephine Behrick, 75, formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Riverside Convalescent Hospital in Chico, Calif.

She was born July 3, 1929, in Perry County, daughter of James and Della Schindler Elder. She and David Behrick were married Jan. 21, 1950.

Behrick was a 1947 graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School in Perryville.

Survivors include four daughters; a son; three brothers, Jim Elder Jr. of Livonia, Mich., Roger and Paul "Brandy" Elder of Perryville; and a sister, Anna Hoffman of St. Ann, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and a brother.

Service was private.

Miller Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
