JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mary Ada Bailey, 62, of Neoga, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 13, 1934, in Union County, daughter of Earl E. and Branche A. Freeman Johnson. She and Harry Dale Bailey were married June 8, 1962, at Ware.
Bailey was a member of Ware Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daugters, Carolyn Tripp of Anna, Teresa McCrackon of Urbana; a son, Duane Bailey of Chicago; four brothers, Donald Johnson of Jonesboro, Howard Johnson of Fresno, Calif., John Johnson of Alturas, Calif., Lavern Johnson of Morris; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
