Mary Ann Statler

Mary Ann Statler, 82, of Millersville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 24,1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Elmer and Myrtle Hahs King. She and Larry Statler were married on Nov. 4, 1972.

Mary Ann was a 1959 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She then worked at International Shoe Co. for 29 years and later worked at Southeast Hospital. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her good friends. She was a member at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson.

Loving survivors include her husband, Larry Statler of Millersville; daughter, Carol Statler of Millersville; two brothers, Bill (Barbara) King and Mike (Mary) King, both of Oak Ridge; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Emanuel United Church of Christ.
