MARY ANN NELSON

TAMMS, Ill. -- Mary Ann Nelson, 40, of Tamms, died suddenly Sunday, Aug. 30, 1992, on arrival at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 1, 1951, at Anna, daughter of Donald and Isabel Lamb Jordan. She married James M. Nelson June 1, 1978.

Nelson was customer service representative at Unimin Specialty Minerals Corp. in Elco. She and her husband were youth ministers at New Life World Outreach Center in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Stacey Honey and Amanda Nelson of Tamms; a son, James Nelson of Crystal Lake; her parents of Tamms, and a sister, Diane Blaney of Tamms.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at New Life Church. Pastor Jack Cathcart will officiate, wwith burial in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home here from 5-9 p.m. today, 8-11 a.m. Wednesday, and at the church from noon until service time.
