JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mary H. Allen, 83, of Jonesboro, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, in Mount Vernon at the home of a son.
She was born April 21, 1915, in Anna, daughter of J.S. and Laura Hooker Clardy. She married Frank Everett Allen April 22, 1936, in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, John Paul Allen of Mount Vernon; a brother, Bill Clardy of Yule, Fla; three sisters, Goldie Woods, Velma Tucker and Bettie Ferguson, all of Jonesboro; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jim Galbraith and Gene Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
