EAST PRAIRIE -- Mary Alice Hawkins, 84, of Warrenton, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, May 24, 1996, in Doctors Hospital in Wentzville.
She was born Oct. 25, 1921, in East Prairie, daughter of Lottie and Ida Black Phillips.
She lived in East Prairie until 1955 when she moved to St. Louis. She moved to Warrenton in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Fuller of Warrenton and David Fuller of Katy, Texas; two daughters, Dean Abner of Lee's Summit and Mary Clark of Robertsville; five brothers, Raymond Phillips of Morton, Ill., Ralph Phillips of Elsberry, Amos Phillips of Charleston, Ben Phillips of St. Louis and John Phillips of Scott City; two sisters, Divola Waldberg and Delores Cook, both of Sikeston; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
Service will be held in the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel at East Prairie Monday at 2 p.m., with Roy Blumenberg of East Prairie officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
