MOUNDS, Ill. -- Mary Agnes Travers, 100, of Mounds, died Monday, Oct. 10, 1994, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
She was born July 11, 1894, in Grampian, Pa., daughter of William and Catherine Danver Ryan. She married John R. Travers, who preceded her in death.
Travers was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Squires and Sara Clarke of Cache, Kathryn Miller of Glen Head, N.Y.; four sons, William Travers of Atlanta, Ga., James Travers of Springfield, Edward Travers of Alexandria, Va., Charles Travers of Birmingham, Mich; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons and a brother.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
