MARY A. SMITH

COBDEN, Ill. -- Mary Ann Smith, 77, Cobden Route 3, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 1, 1918, in Anna, daughter of Frank and Mary Ann Fann West. She and Rufus Eldon Smith were married May 14, 1938, in Jackson.

Smith was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Mina Huelson of Anna, Alice Kelley of Muskogee, Okla., and a brother, Leon West of Cleveland, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
