NEW HAMBURG -- Mary Ann Blattel, 77, of New Hamburg, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, at her home. She was born Oct. 22, 1918, at Leopold, daughter of George and Mary Boulter Schulte. She and Michael Frank Blattel were married Nov. 26, 1944. Blattel retired in 1983 as head of housekeeping at Howard Johnson's in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Sodality...

NEW HAMBURG -- Mary Ann Blattel, 77, of New Hamburg, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, at her home.

She was born Oct. 22, 1918, at Leopold, daughter of George and Mary Boulter Schulte. She and Michael Frank Blattel were married Nov. 26, 1944.

Blattel retired in 1983 as head of housekeeping at Howard Johnson's in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom Blattel of New Hamburg, and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Church, with the Rev. Edward Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
