GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Marvin Wartenbe, 46, of Grand Chain died Monday, Feb. 28, 1995, from a car accident.
He was born Jan. 1, 1949, in Springfield, Ill., to Alonza and Wilma Mueller Wartenbe.
He married Patricia Wild July 29, 1974.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents are a daughter, Deanna Wartenbe of Grand Chain, and three brothers, Pat, Ron and Ray Wartenbe, all of Springfield.
Wartenbe was a member of the Karnak Pentecostal Church. He was a bus driver for the Shawnee Development Council and a nurse's assistant in several area nursing homes.
Friends may call today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. and at the Karnak Pentecostal Church Thursday after noon.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Karnak Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
