BENTON, Mo. -- Marvin Zeno "Curly" Urhahn, 69, of Benton died Monday, July 16, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 5, 1931, at Benton, son of Theon Peter and Lorena Wesley Hawkins Urhahn. He and Ruth Ann LeGrand were married Oct. 13, 1951, at Oran, Mo.
Urhahn owned and operated Urhahn's Service Station until 1990. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church at Benton, and Knights of Columbus Council 4311 at Oran.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard and Kenny Urhahn of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Gail Overbey of Cape Girardeau, Charlene Camren and Sherry Burger of Benton, Jackie Rodriguez of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Edwin "Butch" Urhahn of Cape Girdeau; two sisters, Pat Schlosser and Joanie Kerby of Benton; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 4-8 p.m. today. Knights of Columbus prayers will be at 7, and parish prayers will be at 7:15.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Church, with the Rev. James Seyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
