Marvin N. Popp, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at the Lutheran Home.
He was born March 21, 1930, in Altenburg, Missouri, to Eugene and Alma Popp.
He and Virginia Schlegel were married April 12, 1958, at Cape Girardeau.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1960.
He worked for Prairie Farms for more than 30 years and was a Teamster member.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two nieces, Diana (Thomas) King and Donna (Gary) Birk, both of Cape Girardeau; two nephews, Jim Lunsford of Jackson and Steve (Tammy) Lunsford of Zalma, Missouri; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
