CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Marvin Z. Eichhorn, 81, of Chaffee died Thursday, July 20, 2000, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 28, 1918, at Oran, son of Edward and Nora Dannenmueller Eichhorn. He and Lois Amos were married July 20, 1940.
Eichhorn was a retired, self-employed carpenter. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and St. Ambrose Men's Club in Chaffee and Knights of Columbus Council 4311 of Oran, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Deanna Peterman, Carol Kelley and Janet Gaddis of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ervin Eichhorn of Kelso, Mo.; two sisters, Rose Talley and Coena Uhrhan of Chaffee; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7 and KC prayer service at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
