Martin Wilhelm "Marty" Wachter, 74, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Old Appleton, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Missouri. An American Legion service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home...
