Martin Benjamin Weber Jr., 68, of Billings, Mont., died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at his home.

He was born April 4, 1944, in Neunert, Ill., to Martin Benjamin and Lorna Schilling Weber Sr., being the middle child of five.

Marty graduated from Perryville High School in Perryville, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Upon military retirement he entered the public workforce as an engineer in the aeronautical field. He was of the Lutheran belief.

He and his first wife, Paula, were blessed with 36 years of marriage and two children, Joann and Greg. After Paula's death, he married Linda Clarke in 2004. Linda also died of cancer Jan. 1, 2012.

Marty's favorite pastimes were "the apple of his eye," his grandson, Ryan, and playing bingo.

Survivors include his mother, Lorna Schilling Weber Dreyer of Cape Girardeau; his two children and grandson in California; four sisters, Marlene, Loretta, Maxine and Geneva (Gary) Brandes of Jackson; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. July 8 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

The family requests that memorials be made to Saxon Lutheran Memorial, 296 Saxon Memorial Drive, Frohna, MO 63748, or Saxony Lutheran High School, 2004 Saxony Drive, Jackson, MO 63755.
