MARTIN SCHNARE

Martin Schnare, 79, of Bosworth, died Saturday, July 27, 1991, at his home. He was born June 28, 1912, at Carrollton, son of Henry and Alma Moeller Schnare. He and Lois Brockmeier were married Nov. 13, 1938. Schnare lived in Cape Girardeau from 1955-75, and was a salesman with Aid Association for Lutherans Insurance. Martin Schnare, 79, of Bosworth, died Saturday, July 27, 1991, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1912, at Carrollton, son of Henry and Alma Moeller Schnare. He and Lois Brockmeier were married Nov. 13, 1938.

Schnare lived in Cape Girardeau from 1955-75, and was a salesman with Aid Association for Lutherans Insurance. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Men's Club.

He retired in 1975 and moved to Bosworth. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Carrollton.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Paul Schnare of Cape Girardeau, Ronnie Schnare of St. Charles, the Rev. Timothy Schnare of Sweet Springs, Joel Schnare of Hillsboro; a brother, H.W. Schnare of Carrollton; three sisters, Virginia Vogelsmeier and Alberta Grimpo of Carrollton, Mary Carter of Alden, Kan., and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Schnare.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gibson-Rice Funeral Home in Carrollton.

Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
