Martin F. Radmer, born June 17, 1924, in St. Louis to the late Martin M. and Molly Lubau Radmer, departed this life Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, in Jackson at the age of 96 years.
Martin was a school teacher for the Ste. Genevieve (Missouri) School District for many years and was a past administration of Riverview at the Park Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Wunderlich Guemmer Radmer; his children, Marta (David) Meyer, Patricia (Dennis) Seawel, Kathy (Gary) Welch and Michael (Carol) Radmer; nine grandchildren, David (Suzanne) Meyer, Rodney Meyer, Sarah (Jim) McCann, Jonathan (Liz) Meyer, Scott (Suzanne) Seawel, Stephanie (Sean) White, Brennan (Jennifer) Radmer, Stacey Seawel and Brandi (Stan) Parke; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and dear friends.
Besides his parents, Martin was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy McCullough Radmer, and his brother, Glenn Radmer.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ste. Genevieve.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Craig Reiter officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
