PERKINS, Mo. -- Martin Raymond "Marty" Hircock, 71, of Perkins passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at the family home.
He was born Jan. 22, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa, to the late Carl Leroy and Belle Lorene Roach Hircock. He and Mary Jane Pierce were married Feb. 28, 1978.
Martin served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Perkins Baptist Church. He was a supervisor with AT&T before working as an office manager for a microbrewery supplier.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; two sons, Brian (Mimi) Hircock of Chaney, Wash., and Chad (Terri) Hircock of Omaha, Neb.; and two grandsons.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo., and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Perkins Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Brian Gill officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins, with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
