MARTHA VICK

TAMMS, Ill. -- Martha Vick, 80, of Tamms died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Franklin Hospital in Benton.

She was born June 17, 1919, in Alexander County, daughter of Robert and Lou Ella Wallace Foster. She and Roy Vick were married Nov. 10, 1938.

Vick was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Loila Carroll of Paducah, Ky., Loretta Polston of Whittington, Ill; a son, Rick Vick of Tamms; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Floyd Bennett will officiate, with the burial to follow at the McCrite Cemetery.
