Martha Obert

WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Martha Sue Obert, 48, of Wolf Lake died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 28, 1958, in Granite City, Ill., daughter of John and Norma Breeze. She and Jim Obert were married in 1988.

Obert had been a waitress at various restaurants, the most recent at Grecian Steak House in Farmington, Mo. She attended Red Star Baptist Church and was a volunteer with the Salvation Army.

Survivors include Obert of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Jane Radcliff of Pevely, Mo.; a granddaughter; and several brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time today at Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico, Mo.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Richmond officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery at Lowndes, Mo., at a later date.
