Martha Louise Lukefahr, 81, formerly of Millersville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Nov. 14, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Clarence and Agnes Glueck Diamond. She and Tom Bill Lukefahr were married Nov. 28, 1947. He passed away Feb. 10, 2002...

Martha Louise Lukefahr, 81, formerly of Millersville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Clarence and Agnes Glueck Diamond. She and Tom Bill Lukefahr were married Nov. 28, 1947. He passed away Feb. 10, 2002.

Louise was a member of Whitewater Presbyterian Church near Sedgewickville, Mo., and formerly served as a deacon. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and reading. Louise was a member of Oak Ridge Order of Eastern Star 310.

Loving survivors include a son, Robert (Suzie) Lukefahr of Jackson; a daughter, Frances (Darold) Roe of Sedgewickville; three grandsons and two granddaughters; four great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Blaylock officiating. Interment will follow in Whitewater Cemetery near Sedgewickville.

Memorials may be made to Lutheran Home Hospice or Whitewater Cemetery Fund.
