SIKESTON -- Martha Iladene Ellis, 78, of Woodville, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.

She was born July 18, 1922, at Paducah, Ky., daughter of Bill and Ivy Stevenson Barnes.

She had been a custom drapery maker for Blue Ridge Drapery and Upholstery.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Willis; two sons, Robert E. Ellis Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Bill E. Ellis of Claycomo; two daughters, Brenda Riley of Peculiar and Paula Jarnecke of Woodville; a brother, Paul Barnes of Charleston; two sisters, Magdalene Thurston of Pulaski, Ill., and Mable Kepner of Los Angeles; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a brother.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gospel Assembly Church in Sikeston, with the Rev. Bobby J. Mouser officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds, Ill.
