PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Martha A. Holler, 72, of Perryville died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville.
She was born Feb. 18, 1940, at Daisy, daughter of Pervis and Viola Hahs Sebaugh. She and Henderson L. "H.L." Holler were married Aug. 15, 1965. He preceded her in death Jan. 7, 2001.
Mrs. Holler taught junior high home economics and personal development at Perry County School District 30 years. She was a member of Perryville United Methodist Church, choir, UMW, taught Sunday school, was a member of ADK and Retired Teachers Association. She was a volunteer at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Gary (Carrie) Holler of Newton, Kan.; a daughter, Julie (Greg) Hecht of Jackson; two brothers, Theodore (Thekla) Sebaugh of Nashville, Tenn., Jim (Pat) Sebaugh of Hillsboro, Mo.; four grandchildren, Abbie and Emilie Holler and Grant and Adam Hecht.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Ruth Jurick; and a brother, Dan Sebaugh.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Anne Saegesser officiating. Burial will be in Sargents Chapel Cemetery in Bollinger County.
Memorials are preferred to Southeast Hospice, Holler Scholarship or Alzheimer's Association.
