TILDEN, Ill. -- Martha Holder, 91, of Tilden and formerly of Murphysboro, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 1995, at her home.
She was born Feb. 20, 1904, at Hammond, Ind., daughter of Rudolph and Margaret Meyrer Schultz. She married Lloyd Holder, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1971.
Holder was a homemaker and lived in Union County for many years. She was a member St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hammond, Ind.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Musgraves of Tilden; a sister, Luella Mueller of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; two half-brothers, Rudolph Schultz of Arizona and William Schultz of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Kathryn Bielfeldt will officiate, and burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery.
