Martha DeBrock

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Martha Christine DeBrock, 88, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Eldercare of Marble Hill.

She was born Jan. 3, 1917, at Glennon, Mo., daughter of William and Anna Hinkebein Vandeven.

She and Fred William DeBrock were married on Sept. 14, 1938, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon. He died on May 18, 1994.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and of the Ladies Sodality of the church.

Survivors include five sons, Leon DeBrock and David DeBrock, both of Marble Hill, Ralph DeBrock of Jackson, Joe DeBrock of Advance, Mo., Jerome DeBrock of Delta; two daughters, Wilma Horrell of Marble Hill, Mary Agnes Chapman of Delta; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, three brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
