Martha Jean Gregory Brown, age 70, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Aug. 15, 1950, in Cairo, Illinois, to the late William Ralph and Vivian Lucille Stanfield Gregory. She retired in 2013 after working in payroll/accounting for several businesses. She was a member of First Christian Church in East Prairie.
Martha was married to Raymond David Brown, who preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Shannon Elaine Coady of New Castle, Indiana, and Amy Meredith (Robert) Goodwin of Jackson; and six grandchildren, Hadley, Rayden, Addie, Haven, Logan and Tyler.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Mike Gregory, and two sisters, Helen Poley and Laura Schneider.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Brother Martin Lucas officiating.
Interment will follow in Anniston City Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Rob Goodwin, Bryce Conner, Logan Coady, Tyler Gage, Tim Beard and Ted Poley.
