Marsha Faith Vowels Edwards of Cape Girardeau peacefully passed into heavenly eternity early in the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at her home.

An outspoken and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Marsha's personal life revolved around her faith and her children.

Marsha was born June 20, 1956, in Cape Girardeau to Marshall and Mary Faith Estes Vowels of Dexter, Missouri, who preceded her in death. She grew up in Dexter and earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from University of Missouri-Columbia.

She was a noted entrepreneur who owned a trio of Body Shoppe stores in Cape Girardeau, Dexter and Poplar Bluff, Missouri. From there, she was a senior sales representative for pharmaceuticals, where she won a host of national and state awards and honors. After retirement, she pursued a number of business ventures and volunteer efforts designed to help others.
