Marjorie M. Muller of Saxony Village died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at the Lutheran Home. She was 89.
She was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Sedalia, Mo., to Quincy A. and Mabel Sterling Morgan. She married Clinton J. Muller June 29, 1941, in Sedalia.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Daniel Muller of Parkville, Mo.; a daughter, Sara Bell of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Bell of Dallas; a grandson, Brian Wilson of Parkville; and a sister, Jane Grimm of Cape Girardeau.
Marjorie graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia. She attended Midland College in Fremont, Neb., and graduated from Central Missouri State University with a bachelor of science in elementary education.
Her first teaching was at Quisenberry, a one-room school with all eight grades in Pettis County, Mo. Then she taught two years in Fremont, Neb., followed by 23 years in Sedalia.
She was a lifetime member of Missouri State Teachers Association, member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Sedalia Music Club, Sedalia Garden Club, and PEO. She was a former member of Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church in Sedalia, and was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Visitation and the service will be Thursday morning at Heckart-Gillespie Funeral Home in Sedalia. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.
The family suggests memorials to St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
