Funeral service for Marjorie J. Chaplin, 445 S. Spring, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. David Griesemer will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Chaplin, 76, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 29, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Curran and Ofa Windeknecht Cook. She and George Chaplin were married March 25, 1937, at Jackson. He died in October 1976.
Chaplin was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Blanchard; a sister, Fern Ozment, and a brother, Paul Cook, all of Cape Girardeau.
