MARJORIE HANNER

SCOTT CITY -- Marjorie Hanner, 70, of Scott City, died Monday, April 11, 1994, at her home.

She was born July 29, 1923, in Jerseyville, Ill., daughter of William and Nellie Jane Smith. She and Elmer Lester Hanner were married in 1941. He died Sept. 29, 1966.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Hanner of Houston, Texas, Bill Hanner of Hartford, Ill.; four daughters, Carolyne Drew, Ruth Householder and Jacquie Huckstep of Scott City, Connie Hanner of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sisters, Mildred Kroeschel of Wood River, Ill., June Ceppanitti of Godfrey, Ill.; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill.
