SCOTT CITY -- Marjorie Gail Chapman, 59, of Scott City, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1993 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 20, 1934 in Battle Mountain, Nev., daughter of Franklin Landon and Emily Jewkes.
On July 12, 1954, she married Lester M. Chapman. He survives.
She was retired from the payroll department at K-Mart in Cape Girardeau. She was of Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael Campbell, Kirkland, Wash.; three daughters, Michaelle Chapman, Birmingham, Ala., Marsha Stanfield, Rochester, N.Y., Lynn Marie Chapman, Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Ruth Hoffman, Elko, Nev., Marion McLaughlin, Tustin, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
One sister preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will follow in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
Friends may call at the funeral home today after 4:30 p.m.
