JACKSON -- Marjorie A. Frost, 67, of Jackson died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 2, 1932, at Fruitland, daughter of Charles P. and Dorothy Webb Morton.
Mrs. Frost worked at the former Missourian Litho and Printing in Cape Girardeau, and at the Dallas Morning News in Dallas, Texas.
She moved to Ste. Genevieve in 1989 from Dallas, and to Jackson in 1998. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson and its Perdue-Lear Circle.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel Brown of Jackson, David Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii, Jonathon Brown of Carrollton, Texas; two brothers, Nelson Morton of Kampsville, Ill., Ronald Morton of Cape Girardeau; a sister, LaFern Cockrell of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Mary Morton of Jackson; three grandchildren, Chelsea Brown of Jackson, Elise and Hunter Brown of Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Morton, William Morton, Johnny Morton, and a sister, Margaret Morton.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Presbyterian Church in Jackson or Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association.
