SIKESTON, Mo. -- Marion Parks, 64, of Sikeston died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 29, 1936, at Lilbourn, Mo., son of William Roy and Pearl Bruce Parks.
Parks retired as a truck driver with Reliable Freight Lines. He was a member and trustee of Eagles Aerie 3319.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Ruby Curry, with whom he resided; two daughters, Dawn Sager of Northglenn, Colo., Sharon Garrison of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Olen Parks of Sebring, Fla.; three sisters, Imogene Johnson of Longmont, Colo., Wahana Vellutini of Sonora, Calif., Marie Ward of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
