ANNA, Ill. -- Marion Theresa Comp, 59, of Anna died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Union County Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1944, in Patterson, N.J., daughter of Richard C. and Marion Louise Richardelli Williams.
Comp received a degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She had worked in the food and nutrition department at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
She had lived in Anna more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and served as eucharistic minister. She was a school board and PTA member many years at Lick Creek School.
Survivors include a son, Patrick Comp of Marion, Ill.; two daughters, Theresa Morrison of Atlanta, Ga., Heather Williams of Anna; her mother of Anna; a sister, Carol Brittian of Lancaster, Calif.; and four granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery at Lick Creek, Ill.
